Caprese Salad 🥗 Italian style 🇮🇹 #homemade
Although the salad's origin story is not totally solid, few people dispute that the caprese salad comes from the isle of Capri, off the coast of southern Italy, near Naples.
INGRIDIENTS
- Fresh mozzarella cheese.
- Fresh Basil
- Extra-virgin olive oil.
- Freshly ground black pepper.
- Kosher salt.
INSTRUCTIONS
• Arrange tomato and mozzarella slices in a single alternating and overlapping layer on a serving platter.
• Sprinkle with olive oil, sea salt, and coarse pepper.
• Using hands, tear up basil leaves and let them fall onto the salad. If you like you may also add a balsamic vinegar reduction.
