Sautéed Green Beans with Garlic and tomatoes with carrot #homemade
It's actually hilarious I never in a million years thought I would actually enjoy eating green beans. I actually had no idea how to cook them and googles many recipes till I found one simple and easy on which I can implement a twist of my own. Green beans are high in vitamin K, and they also contain a decent amount of calcium. These nutrients are important for maintaining strong, healthy bones and reducing your risk of fractures.
Ingredients:
* 250g/ 8oz green beans , trimmed from end to end.
* 1 tsp kosher salt
* 1tsp salt and pepper
. 1 cup of diced freshly carrot
* 1 cup of diced cherry tomatoes
* 1 cup unpeeled diced potatoes
For Sauteinf:
* 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
* 1 tbsp of unsalted butter
* 2 tbsp of garlic powder
* 1/8 tsp kosher salt
* 1 pinch black pepper
* 1 pinch black pepper
* 1 tbs chili powder ( optional)
Instructions
• Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil with 1 teaspoon of salt. Add the green beans, the diced carrots and potatoes. Cook for 4 minutes (they will turn bright green), drain, then rinse under cold tap water to cool. (There's really no need to shock in ice water). Shake off excess water.
